Form, Color, and Texture are necessary in good Art and in a Life truly Lived

unlike the Bland desert landscapes that are hard to navigate 

I do not own a compass, or even a GPS navigation system
What does it matter after all, we are all lost in some kind of colorless desert

and live under billowing clouds of unknowing.

...sometimes searching for a path, a sign, even another soul

to give us form, some color, some texture
  desert sands,  hide  that one wild flower blooming on that oasis we name Life
